Out of chargein days,not weeks.
Bex Port Logistics is a licensed clearing & forwarding agent at Chattogram, Dhaka and Benapole. We open your file the day the IGM is submitted and stay on it until the gate pass prints.
Berth to gate out,
day by day.
A typical Chattogram import, stage by stage. Day stamps are working days from the vessel berthing — hover any stage to see what we are doing while the clock runs.
The vessel berths at New Mooring. By this point we already hold your B/L, invoice, packing list and certificate of origin — so nothing is waiting on paperwork.

Everything between the vessel
and your factory floor.
One agent for the whole chain. Because clearance, port formalities and the truck are all ours, nobody hands your file to a third party and loses a day explaining it.
Import customs clearance
The core of what we do. From IGM matching to gate pass, handled by one executive who owns your file at the custom house and answers their phone.
- HS code classification and duty modelling
- Bill of entry on ASYCUDA World
- Duty, VAT, AIT and AT challan payment
- Physical examination attendance
- Out of charge and Delivery Order
- Port rent, demurrage and detention control
Export clearance & documentation
Shipping bill to on-board confirmation, with the bank formalities kept in step so your proceeds are not held up behind a missing EXP.
- EXP form and shipping bill preparation
- Bangladesh Bank and AD branch formalities
- VGM declaration and CY cut-off management
- Certificate of origin, GSP and EUR.1
- Booking, stuffing supervision and sealing
- On-board B/L and document courier to buyer
Freight forwarding, sea and air
FCL, LCL and air out of the Far East, Europe, the Gulf and the Americas through a vetted agent network, quoted all-in so nothing appears later.
- FCL and LCL ocean freight
- Air freight via DAC and CGP
- Consolidation and co-loading
- Marine cargo insurance placement
- Transhipment via Singapore, Port Klang, Colombo
- Door-to-door and DDP terms
Bond, EPZ and RMG clearance
The paperwork most agents subcontract. We handle bonded warehouse and EPZ movement in house, which matters when a shipment of accessories is holding a whole order.
- Bonded warehouse licence and passbook entry
- UP and UD issuance follow-up
- In-bond movement and inter-bond transfer
- EPZ and EZ in-gate formalities
- RMG fabric, accessories and trims
- Bond audit support and reconciliation
Inland transport and delivery
Our own covered vans and trailers, not spot-market trucks. Gate out does not wait for a vehicle to be found on the day.
- Covered van, open truck and flatbed
- Lowbed and multi-axle for heavy lift
- Chattogram to Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Savar
- ICD Kamalapur and Pangaon ICT movement
- Empty return and equipment handover
- Signed POD and photo confirmation
LCL handling and warehousing
De-stuffing supervision at the CFS and short-term storage when your floor is full, with a piece count you can actually reconcile.
- CFS de-stuffing supervision
- Piece count, tally and damage report
- Short and medium-term bonded storage
- Palletisation and re-packing
- Part-delivery against a single B/E
- Inventory handover sheet
Project and over-dimensional cargo
Generators, boilers, printing lines, wind components. Where the cargo will not fit a container, the work starts weeks before the vessel.
- Route survey and clearance height study
- RHD and police escort permits
- Break-bulk and flat-rack handling
- Crane and lifting plan coordination
- Jetty and GCB berth arrangement
- Site offloading supervision
Tariff advisory and compliance
Before you open the LC, not after the container lands. A wrong HS code on a repeat import costs more over a year than any agent's commission.
- HS classification opinion and landed-cost model
- SRO exemption and concessionary rate review
- BSTI, BAEC, plant quarantine and radiation permits
- Pre-shipment document vetting against the LC
- Valuation dispute and review representation
- Duty drawback and refund claims
The importers
we clear for.
Nineteen years at Chattogram means we already know how your sector is assessed — the HS lines, the permits and the queries that hold a file up before it starts.
RMG & textiles
Fabric, yarn, accessories and trims under bond — UP/UD follow-up so an accessories box never holds a whole order.
Pharmaceuticals
APIs, excipients and lab equipment with DGDA, BAEC and radiation permits handled before the vessel, not after a query.
Machinery & capital goods
Generators, boilers and production lines — route survey, escort permits and break-bulk handling for anything over-dimensional.
FMCG & food
Bulk and consumer lines with BSTI, plant quarantine and cold-chain timing kept in step so nothing spoils at the shed.
Chemicals & hazardous
Dangerous-goods documentation, IMDG classification and the explosives and fire-licence formalities most agents will not touch.
Agriculture & commodities
Raw materials, fertiliser and grain in bulk — land-port routing when a coastal feeder costs more time than it saves.
How a Bex file runs.
The customs stages are the same for every agent. What is different is who is accountable for them, and whether you have to ask.
- Step 1
Quoted against your actual tariff lines
Not a flat per-container rate. We price your HS lines, your port and your delivery point, and show the duty estimate separately from our own charges so you can see what is ours and what is the government's.
- Step 2
Documents checked within four hours
Send the LC, invoice, packing list, B/L and certificate of origin. We come back the same working day with anything that will hold the file — a weight mismatch, a missing permit, a description that will not survive assessment.
- Step 3
A named executive, with a mobile number
One person at the custom house owns your consignment from IGM to POD. You are not explaining your shipment again to whoever picks up.
- Step 4
A position every evening at six
While the file is open you get one short status line each day: where the container is, what stage the B/E is at, what we are waiting on. No chasing, and no news is reported as news.
- Step 5
Closed out with every receipt attached
A final cost sheet set against the original quote, with the treasury challan, port money receipt, line invoice and transport bill attached. Variance is explained line by line, not buried in a total.
Transport under our own control
Our yard runs
before the port opens.
Covered vans, flatbeds and lowbed trailers on our own books — so gate out is never waiting for someone to find a truck on the spot market at Friday rates. The file that opened early does not stall at the last mile.
Every gateway
into Bangladesh.
Sea, river, land and air. If your cargo can legally enter the country through it, we can clear it there — and move it between gateways under bond when that is cheaper.
Sea ports
Chattogram is our home water — we work all three container terminals and the general cargo berths daily.
River and inland container depots
Moving a Dhaka-bound box to Pangaon or ICD Kamalapur under bond often beats trucking it from Chattogram.
Land customs stations
India and Myanmar trade, including bulk raw material where the land route is faster than a coastal feeder.
Air cargo
For sample shipments, spares and anything where a week of sea freight costs more than the airway bill.
Why importers move
their file to Bex.
Three things that are hard to copy, and all three of them cost money to maintain. That is rather the point.
Licensed at two custom houses
We hold C&F agent licences at both Chattogram and Dhaka Custom House. A file can move between the two without a second agent in the middle taking a cut and a day.
Transport we actually own
Covered vans, flatbeds and lowbed trailers under our own control. Your gate out is not waiting for someone to find a truck on the spot market at Friday rates.
Bond and EPZ competent in house
Passbook entry, UP and UD follow-up, in-bond movement, EPZ in-gate. The work most agents quietly subcontract is the work that holds up a garment order.
Files that come
back every season.
Most of what we clear is for importers who have been with us for years. The roster below is a sample — sectors and tenures, names kept to ourselves unless a client asks otherwise.

Five containers of knitting machinery, every one out of charge inside a week. The close-out sheet matched the quote to the taka.
Client since 2019
Our APIs clear with the DGDA and radiation permits already in hand. In three years not one consignment has sat at the shed waiting on a paper we should have had.
Client since 2021
A sixty-two tonne press through the GCB berth, route survey and police escort arranged weeks ahead. It moved on the day they said it would, not the week.

Questions importers
ask us first.
The things worth settling before you hand over a file. If yours is not here, the number at the top of the page reaches a person, not a queue.
How fast can you get my container out of charge?
How do you quote — is it a flat per-container rate?
What documents do you need to open a file?
Do you handle bond, EPZ and RMG clearance yourselves?
Can you clear at ports other than Chattogram?
What happens if customs raises a query or disputes the HS code?
Do you own transport, or is delivery subcontracted?
Send us the B/L. We will tell you what it costs and when it moves.
Quotes come back inside one working day with a line-by-line duty estimate, not a lump sum you have to take on trust.
